Two 4 weeks series: a great way to make the transition to Int III Level or polish your technique and style.

. Workshop # 1 (Four weeks) Starting Monday, September 11th, 2006

Intermediate I

Week 1: Introduction to "Sacadas": Natural, Opposite, Lateral and Back

Week 2:  Cross system Basic Step; Change of Directions; Turning Steps;  Vals (Waltz)

Week 3:  "Molinete"; "Contra-Molinete";  "Bicicleta"; "Boleos" and "Amagues" as Figures

Week 4:  "Apilado" Style: "Traspie"; "Ochito Milonguero"; Intro to "Volcadas"

Every class will consist of:

. Tango Warm-Up

. Technique for Leaders and Followers 

. "Step of the Week" 

. Tips on "How to build up your own repertoire"

. "Practica" (supervised practice)

. Workshop # 2 (Four weeks) Starting October 2nd, 2006

Intermediate II

Need to attend Intermediate I or have the approval of the teachers

Week 5: "Barridas" for Men and Women; Linear "Boleos"; "Boleos"and "Amagues" as Embellishments;

Week 6: "Back Sacadas" for Men and Women; Introduction to "Ganchos" (inside, outside, "de pase")

Week 7: "Milonga Lisa" (Basic, "Cunita", "Rabona", "Garabito") and "Milonga con Traspie" (Basic, Side, Same foot and Nora & Ed's Favorite (?!)

Week 8: "Cortes" and  "Quebradas" - "Tomada"; "Colgada"; "Mimosa".

Every class will consist of:
