Maestro of Argentine Tango Paulo Araujo Returns to SF Bay Area,
by Stella

May 4-16th, 2005

This will be Paulo's 6th visit to the Bay area and his popularity continues to outstrip his availability. He brings something to tango that has been hard to find, passion and an ability to impart the true, deep essence of tango to the students. He brings personalized attention to each individual student, converting their weaknesses to strengths, and intuitively mining their emotions. He has been named as the "best tango teacher" in Brazil. Read the Portland Tango Festival website:

  • 2003 ( " I happen to be a big fan of Paulo who teaches a social dance style")
  • 2004-1 ( " Paulo Araujo is a gem, absolutely brilliant and an incredible dancer as well as teacher")
  • 2004-2 ( " Paulo's class was AMAZING!!! Paulo taught something that will change my tango substantially, he taught a concept that opens up a whole new array of possibilities", " THIS MAN SHOULD BE CLONED" )
  • 2004-3 ( " Please bring Paulo Araujo back. His understanding and teaching of Tango takes you to another level. He's brilliant and unique")

or a recent comment  "His teaching is in another dimension altogether - it's like the difference between fine dining and eating at McDonald's."

This time we will be doing some all new workshops, so don't miss. ( all Google listings )
