What people say:

"Current popular systems of musical notation for guitarists essentially based on tablature, the diagrams with fingers on strings, while making introduction of harmony (chords) simple, have numerous disadvantages over standard musical notation. This system (PADs) took the best from both sides. I can see that this system has tremendous educational power"

Herbert Smith

"I think you'll be happy to know that this has accomplished more than you even set out for it to do. I'm no guitarist; I play piano (I've only been playing for around eight months, so I'm a beginner). I love how rich and full chords sound on guitar, but I was never really sure how to accomplish that same sound on a piano. I couldn't read guitar tabs, so every guitar site I visited was useless to me. Then I found your site, and it bridged that translation gap immediately. Thank you so much for creating this! "

This is an extremely useful book for learning notation and spelling of chords, and arpeggios. You do of course have to put in the time and effort, but it does pay off. I suggest using it with a piece you may be working on to learn the bigger picture of more notes, scale and chord correlation and alternative position in which to play.

While the book has a few language 'glitches' it is always easy to understand what the author intends. This is a resource to use for your benefit.
